8/28/15 i COMMITTED an INTENTIONAL ACT of KINDNESS TODAY

8/28/15 i COMMITTED an INTENTIONAL ACT of KINDNESS TODAY...yesterday I confessed & repented for not having mercy on the guy at mcdonalds who asked me to buy him something to eat since he just got out of jail. For some reason I felt bad for not helping him after he left. So today I was at a store in costa mesa, and had just come out with my groceries and another down-and-out guy approached me and asked for $2 to take the bus to long beach where he says he worked painting boats. I said "I can help you" and gave him 1 dollar and said "You know why I am helping you?" And I pulled the cross hanging from my neck into plain view, and said "because of Jesus Christ." He knew something about the Christian faith and mentioned the "yoke is easy" verse. I said "make sure you don't spend it on booze or cigarettes" and asked him if he had a church. He said the lighthouse in long beach. I encouraged him to keep attending, to not give up hope. He seemed to truly appreciate my act of kindness, unlike the guy two days ago who didn't even say thanks.

8/25/15 I CONFESS & Repent For SHOwing NO mercy to Man @ McDonalds

8/25/15 I CONFESS & Repent For SHOwing NO mercy to Man @ McDonalds this morning who came up to me asking if I could buy him something to eat. Instead I engaged in judgmentally asking "why he just got out of jail" (failure to comply with an order to not contact his wife). It was a missed opportunity to show the love of Christ (altho I did briefly mention Jesus)....forgive me Lord even if I can't feed & help everybody..if u fed 5000 with a few loaves of bread, I can spare a dollar now & then regardless of whether they "deserve" or "earn" it (I might add that yesterday & the day before I gave out a few dollars to down-&-out persons, both of whom showed no thanks for it; at least they could say thanks, couldn't they?)
